Does Maple Syrup Go With Anything?

This is primarily for the folks that came to my Pancakes Event at Cartwright's Maple Tree Inn in Angelica, New York. I happen to love sardines. Yes, I'm weird. We already know that.

And who doesn't love maple syrup? What do I see at the Food Emporium this afternoon? You guessed it!  I didn't even glance at the price. How could I not get them? I mean seriously.
