Ode to "Spring" Training
Spring passed over Mendon Ponds Park for greener, warmer pastures this past Saturday and the few of us brave to leave the building roamed around in the wind, rain, and cold. But it was a blast.
Spring also avoided Syracuse, where I crashed with Lockwench coming to and going from the gathering. When I left Sunday morning I had to clean some fluffy, wet snow off the windshield! I believe it was a record snowfall for that date.

Forgotten Souls
I Still Love Civil Service
Why you may ask. Or not. Well, I'll tell you anyway. Because after working full time for the city of New York since 1972, I am now retired and only 59 years old. I know that to someone in their 30s or 40s, 59 may be not so young, but trust me kids, when you're 59 you'll feel vastly different.
I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest of my life and I ain't gonna worry about it! I'm still in that first stage, which I call Thank You God. I'm just happy to no longer be going to a job I had grown so damn tired of.
When I get to the next stage, I'll let you know. You probably don't care, but that's ok.
